Earn points by using the JoynIn tools between October 15 and December 31, 2014.

Accumulate more than 1,000 points, and we will send you a Tango Card valued at $0.01 for each point (e.g. $10 of gift card value for 1000 points).  Tango Cards will be distributed each weekend. Note: activity occurring prior to October 15, 2014 will not be eligible to earn points.

Activate your Tango Card at https://www.tangocard.com/activate.  Then you can exchange your Tango Card value at the Tango Cards redemption center: https://www.tangocard.com/card/use for digital gift cards of same value from popular brands including Amazon.com, Starbucks, Xbox, Fandango and more. If you have earned multiple Tango Cards over the course of multiple weeks, you can create a Tango Card account and consolidate the value that you’ve earned.

You can even donate your rewards to your favorite charity, including Habitat for Humanity, Boys & Girls Club of America, Kids in Need Foundation, TeachforAmerica, The good card.

What is JoynIn Rewards and how does it work?

JoynIn Rewards is designed to encourage use of the JoynIn toolset for connecting consumers and servers/bartenders and it gives both parties, as well as the managers and proprietors of establishments offering table service the opportunity to earn points redeemable for rewards. Rewards will be distributed weekly to the participant’s email address in the form of (digital) Tango Cards.  The recipient can visit Tango Card’s site (https://www.tangocard.com/activate) to activate and exchange their Tango Card(s) for gift cards of retailers of their choice.  Recipients can create a Tango Card account to combine and redeem multiple Tango Cards for retail gift cards.

 

Rewards points can be earned as follows:

 

Consumers (diners and bar patrons):

  • Consumers will earn 1000 points for connecting with a server/bartender at an eating/drinking establishment offering table service in the greater Seattle marketplace. That server/bartender must register to use JoynIn for the first time before December 31, 2014.  Consumers will not earn a reward for connecting with a server/bartender who has already registered with JoynIn.
  • The consumer must register at www.heyjoynin.com and then confirm their email address by clicking on the Verify Email Address button in the resulting confirmation email message from Team JoynIn.
  • Then, the consumer should either collect the server’s email address and use the Invite Others To JoynIn feature on the left rail of the consumer screen to send an invite to the server to register.  Or, click on the Sign Up Joyner option on that same left rail menu and allow the server to register on the consumer’s mobile device by typing their Business Name, Phone # (optional), email and first name and last name.
  • The server must provide their first and last name, the name of their service establishment, an email address, and verify their email address by clicking on the Verify Email Address button in the resulting confirmation email message from Team JoynIn before December 31, 2014. Newly registered servers/bartenders who register and verify their email address will also earn points (see below).
  • Points will not be earned by the consumer or the server/bartender if the server/bartender has previously registered or is suspected of having previously registered, based on their name, establishment and/or email address.

    Server/Bartenders

  • Servers who register at www.heyjoynin.com/register for the first time and verify their email address by December 31, 2014 will earn 500 points for connecting with a consumer who has recruited them to register (the consumer inviter who earns 1000 points for recruiting a server/bartender) – see Consumer rewards above.
  • Servers will earn 200 points for each Regular (patron) whom they add to their JoynIn account by December 31, 2014.  They must capture the first name, last name and a working email address of these Regulars.  This award will be withdrawn if messages sent to the Regular’s email address bounce or cannot be delivered.
  • Regulars must be real customers. JoynIn reserves the right to review and confirm the existence of said Regulars.
  • Servers will earn 200 points for each of the first two messages sent to each new Regular through the JoynIn tool by December 31, 2014.
  • Messages must be pertinent to the service relationship and not merely sent to earn reward credits.  JoynIn reserves the right to review message content to confirm that the messages are pertinent and not merely intended to earn points.

    Manager/Proprietor

  • Managers who register at www.heyjoynin.com and invite a server/bartender from their establishment to register, will earn 1000 points for each server/bartender who registers at www.heyjoynin.com (for the first time) and confirms their email address by December 31, 2014.

    How do I get started?

    Register with JoynIn www.heyjoynin.com/register as a consumer, server, bartender, or manager using your Facebook ID or email address and supplying your name and (optionally) phone #. After you've signed up, you can start earning points for JoynIn activities until December 31, 2014.

    Are there any age restrictions to signing up?

    You must be 18 or older to earn points in the JoynIn Rewards program.

    What info is needed to sign up for JoynIn?

    To sign up for JoynIn Rewards you need to be a consumer (18 years or older) or be a server or bartender or manager employed at an eating/drinking establishment in the greater Seattle area which offers table service.

    and (optionally) your mobile phone #.

    Do I need to buy anything to join JoynIn Rewards?

    No, you don't need to buy anything and there are no hidden fees.

    How do I redeem my credits for rewards?

    JoynIn will redeem credits for rewards on a weekly basis.  (Digital) Tango Cards will be sent to the email address of all participants who have an earned balance of more than 1000 points.  Participants must visit: https://www.tangocard.com/activate to activate their Tango Card. Participants will not have the ability to proactively redeem credits, but they will be responsible for activating their Tango Card(s) and exchanging the value on that Tango Card(s) for equivalent value on one or more retailer digital gift cards.

     

    You may choose to contribute your credits to a non-profit organization or school, when offered by Tango Card at the Tango Card redemption center. To do so, you must follow the specific directions at the redemption center to receive your credits as a donation. Once you make a contribution of credits to a non-profit organization, it cannot be cancelled or refunded.

    How and when do I receive my rewards?

    Rewards will be sent to the e-mail address you confirmed when you registered at www.heyjoynin.com or as updated in your profile. Rewards will usually be delivered over the weekend via email and will arrive in the participant’s email Inbox by Monday morning.

    How many rewards can I earn?

    JoynIn may limit the quantity of credits or rewards per participant. See mention of award limits in specific rows of the Rewards Scheme above. JoynIn reserves the right to reduce credits for activity and to deduct credits from a participant who is using the tool in an unethical manner, such as merely to earn credits, in our sole discretion. Any limits on rewards per participant and any award deductions will be announced to the affected participants via email.

    I signed up a Server. Why didn’t I earn credits for the referral?

    Your Server connection must be new to JoynIn (not have registered previously) and must complete the registration process and confirm their email address by clicking on the Verify Email Address button in the subsequent email sent by Team JoynIn.

    Am I eligible to join JoynIn Rewards if I am not a U.S. resident?

    No, only U.S. residents (50 U.S. States and D.C.) are eligible to join JoynIn Rewards.

    Your JoynIn Rewards Account

    What do I need to do to create a JoynIn account?

    Consumers can create a JoynIn account by registering at www.heyjoynin.com/register and providing first name, last name, email address, password, and (optionally) phone number.

    Servers and bartenders must provide the same information plus their employer name and they must be employed (full- or part-time) at an eating or drinking establishment offering table service in the Seattle marketplace.

    Will JoynIn share my information with third parties?

    No, JoynIn won’t share, lease or rent your information to third parties. However, Joynin may deliver ads sponsored by third parties to participants based on the participant’s activity, profile and preferences.     I've earned enough credits to get a reward. How and when do I receive it?

    Rewards will be sent to the e-mail address you confirmed when you registered or as updated in your JoynIn profile. Provided that your activity is in accordance with the Terms of Useyour reward will usually be delivered on the weekend after you have accumulated enough credits (1000 points) to get a reward.     Which service establishments are eligible (for employee servers to receive JoynIn Rewards)?

    Servers, bartenders and managers must work at an eating or drinking establishment offering table service which is located between Tacoma, Washington and Everett, Washington, and west of North Bend, Washington.

    How do I redeem my credits for rewards?

    Participants cannot proactively redeem their credits.  JoynIn will calculate credits earned once per week and, for participants who have a balance of more than 1000 points, will send Tango Cards containing the earned value to the participants’ email addresses each weekend.  The participant must visit the Tango Card activation page (https://www.tangocard.com/activate)  to activate their Tango Card.  Then, they must exchange their Tango Card(s) for retail gift cards or donations at the Tango Card redemption center: https://www.tangocard.com/card/use.

    Can I return or exchange my reward?

    Participants cannot return rewards.  They can exchange Tango Card rewards for retail gift cards or donations of the same value.  Tango Cards have no expiration date.

    What can I do with the Tango Cards you send me?

    JoynIn will calculate credits earned once per week and each weekend will send Tango Cards containing the earned value to the email address of participants with accumulated credits of at least 1000 points.  The participant can use the Tango Card redemption center (https://www.tangocard.com/card/use) to exchange their Tango Card(s) for retail gift cards or donations of their choice.

    I have received more than one Tango Card? Can I combine them?

    Yes, participants can open an account at the Tango Card redemption center https://www.tangocard.com/card/use and can accumulate the value earned across multiple Tango Cards.

    How many rewards can I earn?

    The total rewards that can be earned by any participant will be capped at $500 of digital gift card value within a single calendar year.

    Participants earn awards based on their use of the JoynIn toolset – see Rewards Scheme above.  Credits are earned for performing certain activities, and there are limits imposed on the number of times that certain activities qualify for awards.  Finally, all such activity must be completed by Dec 31, 2014.  In particular, to earn awards for inviting consumers or servers to register with JoynIn, or for connecting with servers new to JoynIn, those invitees must complete the registration process and confirm the validity of their email address by clicking on the Verify Email Address button in the email sent by Team JoynIn before Dec 31, 2014.
